Employment Background and Accomplishments
My most recent position was working for Alorica call center as a Tier II/III PC Technician where I worked with Active Directory account, assisting with general help desk duties, and moving equipment from Greentree to Campbells Run Road. Before that Allegheny County Courts as an IT Specialist where my duties involved hardware and software troubleshooting, hardware replacement, thin client replacement and initial setup, Microsoft suite assistance, and eWaste coordination and pickup preparation. Our Helpdesk Phone lady had retired, so I would answer and delegate incoming tickets to other reps during her absence. Additionally I assisted with Excel workbook fixing when our development team did not have their own resources to do so.
Prior to that I was at Petrosoft where I was hired as a Help Desk Technician, then moved to Quality Assurance and beta testing for a touchscreen-based food ordering system, then to Pricebook Specialist. These positions involved assisting end users, fixing issues and training them on various hardware and software. Here I improved their cash register help system by providing Internet-based help files if the cash register was offline, and I worked closer with the overseas developers improving their English writing skills and logical improvements to the user interface.
Prior to that my employment was at Lowe's as a cashier. My talents did not go to waste as I suggested that they place their warranty information near the products that needed it the most, and I was told they would implement this idea nationwide. My implemented idea results in faster checkout lines (since less time is spent explaining warranty details) and information gained prior to checkout (as the customer does not have to make split decisions at checkout with waiting customers behind them). I was fortunate enough to land an interview at Google Pittsburgh for a Technical Writer position, but unfortunately did not get placed. In 2012 I had trained the McKeesport UPMC's IT Staff on Apple's iOS and OS X integration, supported the Montour School District's staff with general IT support and created presentations and videos for their email transition, and was an Administrative Assistant for the Diocese of Pittsburgh and Highmark.
I have also worked as a Virtual Tech Rep (coder) for EdisonLearning, supported GNC stores nationwide as a Point-of-Sale Technician which involved hands-on and phone-based technical support, was the Administrative Assistant for the Marketing Director at Community LIFE (supporting the main office and all day centers), and helped Monroeville Guitar Center surpass their sales goals on multiple occasions.

- Submitted idea to Lowes to move their warranty brochures from the checkouts to the products that needed it the most. This way the customer could get the warranty information ahead of time rather than being rushed by the cashier checkout. Not only would this create less of a sense or urgency at the checkout, but the cashier would be free from explaining the benefits and details at the checkout, thus enabling the checkout lines to move much faster. This was given the green light in 2015 and will be implemented in Lowes stores nationwide.
- Assisted Guitar Center in getting highest district sales on multiple occasions (store opened in 2001, did not get the award until I moved into a different position and did record sales in that position [2004-2006])
- Using relational drop-down menus, was able to condense the information for reordering supplies which also resulted in less toner usage when printing order forms for Highmark.
- Created remote Dashboard for Director of Marketing (Community LIFE)
- Created T-shirt designs for 2006 and 2007 Autism Walk (used both years)
